Bush Walks Around Canberra
(Updated Nov 2003)

The following are few bush walks in the Canberra region. The area within the ACT has been badly burnt since the bush fires of January 2003, but the area to the east of the ACT, in NSW, was untouched. The burnt out areas are still ok, and, in some cases, the walking is now easier as a large amount of the thick scrub has gone. However, it is certainly not as pleasent as it used to be. Namadgi National Park has many areas that are now open for walking, but the Brindabella Mountains are still largely off limits.
